We have been married for 36 years. Early in our marriage, we had 4 children within a 5 1/2 year time span. Linda was home during the early years of child rearing and we learned to navigate life as a one income family. Life was challenging and busy. It became evident we needed help and direction. We began facilitating young married and parenting classes for our own growth and those who were in similar stages of life. In year nine of our marriage, we moved our family overseas to pursue international missions in Christian school settings utilizing our skills in the education and nursing fields. After 6 years of international ministries, we returned to the states. Up to this point, our children’s educational experiences included home, Christian and public schools. We navigated through the cultural challenges of teenage years to young adulthood intentionally seeking help from others who had already experienced this stage of parenting. Our children are now launched and married and have families of their own. We value our friendship with our adult children and their spouses. We have 9 grandchildren and love
spending time with them. We hope to be life long learners as we continue to walk out our days.
