We’re Jim and LaVerna Henderson and we live in East Wenatchee. We’ve been married for
slightly over 65 years; some bad, mostly good. We have three adult children, seven
grandchildren, and twelve great-grandchildren, so far, and we are blessed that all are serving
the Lord. Jim’s career caused him to travel extensively, by car, through the six western states
until years ago. LaVerna didn’t work outside the home until sixteen years into marriage. We
started attending church after ten years of marriage, which was probably the main reason we
were able to work through our “disagreements”. Then the Lord became real in our lives and
helped us grow spiritually to the point of being a God-loving family. We have faced many
challenges in our walk with the Lord and many location moves around the great Northwest. We
are now retired and we enjoy serving the Lord in the Wenatchee Valley. Let it be our pleasure
