Hi, my name is Janice Marx from East Wenatchee. There have been several deaths in my
family in the last 20 years. We know that we can't keep our parents forever. My mother passed
away in 1998 at the age of 82. My father was 92 and passed away in 2000. 4 months later, my
younger sister died of liver disease from alcohol. My older sister lost her husband and son
within 6 months of each other. But the most tragic, was when I lost my granddaughter. She was
21 and was working for a logging company as the dozer operator. The blade of the dozer nicked
a log and flipped it into the cab. It is still very difficult to think about it. We never get over these
tragedies, but we get through them. My husband has been gone now for 3 years. I still miss
him. If you have lost a loved one whether recent or otherwise, I would like to visit with you and
