You Shall Not Bear False Witness

When God gave us this command, he did it out of care for the human race. No society can flourish without justice, and no justice can be had without truthful witnesses. But is it applicable outside the courtroom? In a fake-news social-media driven culture who both demand the truth be exposed even while spreading falsehoods, this command takes us to the root of all sins and exposes our heart's need of the Savior who is himself Truth.
