Jesus is on the move. After being rejected by his hometown of Nazareth, Jesus moves on to the fishing village and significant city of Capernaum, which becomes his base of operations for much of his public ministry. He begins by teaching in the synagogue on the Sabbath and encounters and casts a demon out of a man who disrupts the service.
