We have been married for 31 years and have 5 adult children (1 boy and 4 girls). They are currently ages
29-19. Tami worked outside the home until our 3 rd child was born and then quit her job as a physical
therapist to stay home full time. We struggled with the decision as to whether or not to let her license
go at the time which we decided to do. She recently reentered the work force as is a skin care
consultant with a major skin care company. Doug graduated from dental school in 1991. He bought and
ran his first practice in Wenatchee in 1994. He is one of the founders of Fibonacci Smile, where he
partnered with a fellow dentist in 2004. Doug now has 25 years of experience of running a business that
strives for excellence and honors Christ in all of its aspects. Fibonacci Smile employs 6 employees and
positioned uniquely in the market as a relationship based office with highly personalized approach. In
addition, Doug has helped start a non-profit organization (The River Academy) where he served as board
chairman for it’s first 10 years. We would love to share insights we have gained through these
experiences and what we would do differently if we had it to do again.
